Programme on Sex, Intimacy, and Love:

The “Programme on Sex, Intimacy, and Love” is targeted as the theme for a joint project of the Institute of Medicine, Psychology and Religion (IMPR) and the Orthodox Christian Association of Medicine, Psychology, and Religion (OCAMPR) in response to questions concerning the relationship between sexuality and spirituality. This three-year program is intended to create an open dialogue to support an inclusive exchange to address the needs and understandings of the Orthodox Christian community regarding sexuality, love, and intimacy.

PAST CONFERENCES

The Healing Initiative Conference Series:

The Healing Initiative of the Institute for Medicine, Psychology, and Religion concluded a 3-year conference series in 2006, as an outgrowth of collaborative research with the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard University, and in affiliation with the Lilly Foundation at Hellenic College and the Local Societies Initiative of the Metanexus Institute. Its purview was to encourage the integration of faith and healing by supporting interdisciplinary dialogue, research, and practice through publications and conferences in the field of holistic healing.
